As children, even if we don’t remember it, most of us recognize that we saw the world and people differently when we were young. And it was then that many of us received a leather-bound book full of long words and difficult names we couldn’t pronounce. We were taught the “great hits” of the Bible and the names of the “superheroes” of  faith. And we were told everything in it was true and we should do our best to abide by its teachings. Then we grew up. What was oh-so-simple then is . . . well, it’s not simple. In this series, looks at lessons we learned when we were young and except approaches the stories from the eyes and experience of an adult.
